I read a few years ago that Two Irish Gentlemen drinking in a Pub in Dublin in the 1780 `s decided to have a wager.
One said, using just Two Vowels and Two Consonants.
He could create a Word that with the Week would be in Common Use in everyday English Language.
He chose I U and Q Z
He went all over Dublin scrawling the word "QUIZ" on all Walls and Doors throughout Dublin.
Causing everyone to talk and ask " What's a QUIZ ?" "What does QUIZ mean?"
And sure enough within the bet time limit, everyone knew the new Word "QUIZ"
"Not alot of people know that !"
