Beautiful and interesting photos being posted - enjoying same.
Today here is National 'Thanksgiving Day' and I thought you might get a smile from this - remember my reaction
to first seeing Cottage Cheese and Peaches together - had always only had them with either ice cream or evap
it took some getting used to!!

Patricia, I quite enjoy fresh peaches and cottage cheese in the summer. The creamed corn.......yuck, but love regular corn on the cob with lashings of butter!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh Dan that's not weird it's sacrilege! One of the few pleasures we have left to us as we age is eating well prepared food in a restaurant with good service.Same with restaurant reviews. If I've read it, I've eaten there. Just file under weirdo.
Patricia can I ask you please to post the Father Christmas vid thingy on a separate thread? Not everyone looks at every thread each day and it's easy to miss something so special. That one is SO heartwarming that I'd hate anyone to miss it.

Middle of December a couple of years ago, I went to a RTC on the motorway where a plant transporter had collided with an overbridge, the driver hadn't lowered the boom on the JCB he was carrying and it hit the bridge deck doing 60mph! The driver was distraught, I cheered him up by saying, at least you'll be off for Christmas! He gave me such a look!

It's lovely having it on my doorstep, I see the mountains as I head to work as well as patrolling through the Lune Gorge.

Hi Tom, This winter image of the M6 Motoway is one of the most beautiful pictures that I have ever seen.
I would like you to post it on the " Past & Present " thread on TrucknetUK. I will save a copy. Cheers, Ray.
