Tom, That is a great tribute in your window to all those who served in World War 2. I obviously expected your Union Flags to be flown
the right way up, unlike some eejits who fly them upside down, and call them Union Jacks. I understand that it is a Union Jack
when it is flown from the jackstaff of a ship. Take care and keep safe, Cheers, Ray.

Been a busy little bee today, was on standby from work on full pay, so decided to put my spare time to good use.

It certainly was, my wife was complaining about the amount of cellotape I used sticking it all up. She soon shut up when neighbours were complementing her on the display.

You would never have guessed what I've been doing to-day - Lavender Picking at the "Sweethaven Lavender Farm" the air was so fragrant it was such a pleasure to be there. Where Janine gets these "Outings" from I have no idea but I really enjoyed the day!! Even the Lavender Lemonade was a treat and I can't wait to taste the Lavender Honey!!!
Just a very small corner of the Farm they also keep sheep.

The lake is Killington Lake, which is next to the M6 motorway service station of the same name, and the motorway stretch is in the Lune Gorge on the M6 between Kendal and Tebay.

Amazing photos, enjoying them all.
Love that part of the country, BH, all those magnificent hills and valleys, great place for hikers.
Wondering if traffic police are having to wear masks, (not very comfortable) probably wouldn’t be allowed to travel in pairs either, hope you’re managing alright
Mack; yes, rather fetching (in a rather bizarre sort of way) might just catch on
Patricia; what more could a girl want, beautiful day, enjoying the fragrance of nature..just perfect
Janine sounds like a girl after my own heart..love my Lavender Honey

Hi to You, Shelagh - Yes it certainly was the day for knitting and I'm afraid it's the same today, so I guess I will continue on and on and on.......
I have been making "Boot Toppers" which my Girls seem to like and they are really quick and easy to knit which I also like!!
Here is a photo of the set I made for Gaynor (the Boots are mine!!!)
This was on the computer today which I thought was
good advice.............
