Can anyone help me find the family of my late Uncle Tommy. His name is Thomas James LEE and he lived at 49 Alexandra Road, Crosby. I know he was there during the 1950's. I think he married before 1962 when his sister Elsie (my mother) died. He married Joan and I believe had a daughter Karen. I believe he died around 1950. I understand he may have lived in Formby. I am trying to complete this part of the family tree. Val

Thank you...appreciate it. We all lived there with Alice, she was my grandmother. The rest of the family are traceable but I have lost track of Tommy.
Cheers Val

Thanks Jan...that is the family and you have found his birth and the Joan he married. The daughter I am also looking for I think is Karen and they settled in Formby. If I could find her and make contact I would be very happy.
Isn't funny how information changes. Alice is showing on the 1911 census as being born in Wales but she was actually born in Alderley Chester...not far away.

Thank you for helping

Cheers

Hi Val,

I have sent you an e-mail.

I think Joan Quinn (Lee) was born 20 March 1930. I found her on the 1939 register and it gives her married name Lee.

This could be her death registration

Name:
Joan Lee
Death Age:
72
Birth Date:
20 Mar 1930
Registration Date:
May 2002
Registration district:
Birkenhead
Inferred County:

I will send you another private message, I think there was another daughter.

Hi Jan

I tried sending you a private message back via the email that came through from the Bootle Times but alas it was undelivered. Nothing much in it...just a bit of history and a thank you

Cheers
