Well like l said in the past all started from my big brother Albie looking at the pictures of him and me playing in the JOC and l look back at all them hits could have been lost all the pictures.

Has anyone got pictures of bootle joc teams 1960 to 1980 Winham st James Pentogon st winnies bootle YMCA any teams or write up's from bootle times thank you

Richmond Sausage Factory Football Team . Don't know what Year but 3 People are mentioned by name .. Trainer is Jack Sykes, Norman Summers is middle front row & Edward Connolly is far right front row. Anyone know them or any of the rest of the Team .?

The lad holding the ball is Les Ellis I think . His Dad had a general store in Peel Road . Bootle Grammar School first 11 about 1960/1961

Back left Peter Murt, Back right Alan Murch
Front Left Peter Brown, Norman Gwyther, Ken Nacinovich, Front right next to Teacher Geoff Clark.

They were the lads from our League and Cup winning Netherton Moss Juniors team.

Definately right with Alan Murch and Peter Murt (that's "Mr Murt" to all those who went to Gray Street/Thomas Gray school between approx 1970 and 1990).
Also on that one (1960) is Colin Gilvin centre back row.

The BGS 1966 pic has Alan Murch front row kneeling on the left, John Hollis sitting second left. Other possibilities in that team could be Stevie Mann and Phil ? on the back row and is that Geoff Clark seated in front of teacher?
