Football is still alive watched my grandson young Bob in his first game
we all have to start, not the best result got beat 8 .1. by a much classy team
on Botanic park there under 10s have some great facilities 25 pitchs all quarter size
small goals , hot drinks hot food tiolets, first aid man a credit to the league
the refs where very good letting the game flow no offside, discression on through ins
parents and family where also well behaved if the ref takes any bad flack
they have been told to stop there game and officals of the league will ask
any offenders to stop or the game gets abandoned
cant wait for next sunday

My three grandsons play in junior leagues thanks to the dedication of people like the late Mick McNally who organised football for kids from 6 to 13 years of age, referees, pitches and trophies. R. I. P. Mick your memory lives on mate.

Received a first photo of the Richardson/Flynn/Carneal Family at the wedding of my Grandson Trevor
to Alisha. We really lucked out with the weather, it was chilly but dry and
sunny - Phew!!!!!
Alisha also eventually received her "Lucky" horseshoe!!

Mack That must have been one amazing discovery!!!!!!
Here we have the "Start of the Honeymoon!!! "
Trevor & Alisha sailed yesterday for the Bahamas:D
Trevor looks like he needs a bigger straw!!!!!
Just received this interesting tidbit from Gaynor, Trevor's Mom............"Trevor called us as they were making their way down from Baltimore and when he went under the Bay Bridge we made our way to a high point overlooking the water and saw their ship come past. Peter pointed the car out towards the water and started flashing his lights and I’ll be darned if Trevor didn’t spot us! He was counting the number of flashes we were doing. It was hilarious."

Patricia - What beautiful pictures!! They look like a very happy couple - Trevor is so handsome and resembles his grandfather. The beautiful picture of Virginia brings back a lot of memories I still miss the greenery and the many trees and the cherry blossoms in the spring. However, I love Utah and the beautiful mountains - and the lack of humidity in the summer.......Ha. Keep sending pictures of the happy couple.. Here's hoping 2019 will be a happy one for you and your lovely family.

Shelagh - Leo-Thomas is definitely a "Cutie-Pie!!" know you must be so proud of him!
Brenda - Delighted to see your post and thank you for your kind comments. Hope all
is well your end. x
Bobby - I know you are correct in what you say - that was my laugh for the day. I have
two sons-in-law who are extremely mischievous, keeps you on your toes!!!!
Had lunch yesterday at the Outback with our newly formed "Denbigh Brit Club" We
hadn't met since before Christmas so there was a lot of "Catching" up to do. Several
of the ladies had been back across the pond for a real "Christmas!" and one then
went on to Australia to visit her son. It was a 3 hr lunch a wonder we weren't "Booted"
out of there!!!!! Janine did an excellent job organizing everything, even down
to a raffle prize of an arrangement of tulips. (whoever had the sticker under their seat
was the winner!!)
