Can't comment cus re the hotel only been for a drink.
The Premier Inn off Copy Lane may be more convenient for you though.

The Lakeside Hotel on the banks of the Marina in Waterloo is a great venue Ken. A lot cheaper than the Royal. Has a nice restaurant, gym facilities and prime location.

The Lakeside is good. Had family reunion there, people stayed there and we were very happy.

Lovely location too.

It looks very nice but works out more expensive as I’m single occupancy and the rate is per room.
The rooms are ideal for a couple or family and would be very reasonable on that basis.
Hope you are well.

I stayed there a few years ago now when we had a meet up. I found it fine and served the purpose. Recommended it to a friends who didn't find it so good. I guess we all have our standards and preferences. As long as a place is clean and convenient I don't tend to worry about other things and base mine on price as having a single room tends to be pricey.

And don't get me started on Peel Ports' Seaforth One container terminal.

And relax. :D
