Ernie This is correct info regarding Ray

Raymond Mears is a former association football player who represented New Zealand at international level.

Mears scored on his full All Whites debut in a 3-5 loss to Australia on 25 November 1967[1] and ended his international playing career with 10 A-international caps and 3 goals to his credit,[2][3] his final cap an appearance in a 0-2 loss to Israel on 1 October 1969.

Will put more on regarding Ray Bootle Lad does good in New Zealand :D :D :D

Well to all my Bootle JOC players past and present who l played against and everyone on this forum big thanks for all your input.

Big thanks to my big brother Albie for starting me off on this post well well never through we would get so many interests in Bootle JOC,

People ask me about the JOC l only played in it what an education and made us fit and wise.


Look at the memories we have it was great to meet up with Gerry the other day and l have made contact with other players l played with.
