Hi all, I'm new here. I grew up in Ariel St off St Johns Rd, up to age 8 anyway. Left in 1963. My name is Jeff Clark. My grandmas maiden name was Rafferty. Eleanor Rafferty was her full name. She was married to Thomas Clark. Eleanor's dad was Patrick Rafferty and her mum was Mary Huddleston. I have managed to trace a branch of the Rafferty's and Huddleston's to Canada but have not managed to find any there in Bootle. On the death cert for Mary Rafferty nee Huddleston, her daughter, M. A. Hughes of 68 Hertford Rd Bootle was the informant. Any info out there would be very much appreciated.

there is a Mrs Mary Rafferty at St johns road

could not find Thomas or James local to bootle
but found Robert ships painter 11 Sylia street 1949
with Patrick H Rafferty also a ships painter think this could be his son
Patrick lived at Craven street in 1901
Mrs M Hughes
no 68 Hertford road there was a George Hughes there in 1962
