A glimpse of the future early 70s?

Found behind a photo in frame of my late father in law, William Ross (of the William Ross Green Grocer shops of which the head office was in Hawthorne Road - now sadly defunct). Seems to have been taken at Bootle Times office. Location should be traceable by reference to the years of employment of Ted Owen and Pete Biggs in the photo.

and played football for the team
i can put on all the shops they had
Datex Systems has been involved in PC Networks since their conception. We installed our first in-house network in 1986. Things have moved on a lot since the early days, and so have the Networking skills of our engineers.
not sure if they started on the machine before
if the shirts where penny round collers
it might have been 1970s
