2. Newly arrived mown grass with a charge. JUSTIN HAYWARD

3. Part of Albert in the recreational area. LINKIN PARK

4. The Spaniards shout a thank you as mother enters

5. Stop the highlander & place his raincoat in the pan. WOMACK & WOMACK

6. Red Indian reversed and was observed.

7. Could be a permanent lease on a second class property.

Last few teaser's proving to be a Challenge, Bill!!
Closest I could come up with for 6;
Otis Redding?
Red Indian Reversed - Red Din = Reddin g.
Observed - N otice D = Otis!

Not Otis Shelagh. Try putting a comma after red and another after Indian.

Tried different approach, Bill,
Still not found it.."Dan Reed" or Dan Reed Network! (nearest I could get)
Dan from Indian,
Reed from Red or Read for Observed!!

Wondering if this could be a rapper called Redman?

Red as in read = observed.

Not Redman Shelagh. Have a go at 4. I think that is by far the easiest one.

Back to Red Indian question, Bill, just had another idea :idea: here goes;

6. Judge Dread?
Judged Red!
7. Leona Lewis..
Lease - Le
On A = Leona
Device used in building - Lewis (best I can do)

'Ole' to Bern for getting no 4 :D

Neither of those Shelagh. No 6 has nothing to do with 'read' and so you can forget that line of thought. :)

No Bill, I was focusing on the word Judged as being observed, and Red from Dread!
Thought it could work, but never mind :roll:

Could 10 be The Pretenders? as it sounds like 'eaten' inside

I'm not at all confident with this effort :lol:

Bernie & Shelagh, neither of those are correct.

7. Try putting a comma after permanent, and it might un'lock' the answer and cause you less s'tress'

6. As I have said before, "put a comma after red, and after Indian, and then go through the clue again. It is a three part answer.

10. A duo

Bill, going on latest clues,
7. Hank Locklin,
Permanent - wave, tress,
Lock - Lock,
Second class property - Lien = lin..

Best I can come up with!

Not Hank Locklin Shelagh. Think 'permanent ' adverts. :)

Bill, with all this talk of tress and locks and your tip about permanent.. I'm guessing we should all be recalling "which twin has the TONY"
A lease can be a contract to RENT and 2nd class can be a B so my guess for #7 is TONY BRENT?

Good thinking, Bee, how could I forget Toni, all those lovely waves and curls, but what a pong that lotion gave off :roll: :lol:

Before I take a break, another couple of 'eaten' duos to add to the list;
McFadden and Whitehead,
Renee and Renato,
Probably loads more, but enough checking for now :roll: :)

Hiya Bill,

I AM Indian - Is a film title = Observed

Sorry Shelagh, not D.ream. You are thinking too much outside the box again. Try reversing Red & Indian. :)
Have a look at what I said about the answer on Monday.

Just looked through Guinness hit singles... every number one from 1990-2005 and found nothing that helped

I think this has gone on long enough now. Nobody seems to have picked up me saying it was a three part answer :cry:
Reverse Red & Indian, then think of something that is Indian and then what is Red? Then a word that sounds like observed.
If it has not been solved by tomorrow a.m. I will give the answer.
