Let's leave it a while to see if anyone comes up with the proper answer as mine was just a bit of fun.
If no takers by later tonight I'll set a new question.

I spoke to an officer in one, he was sitting at a desk or table, so table & chair.
He had a brew so presume a kettle ( unless he had a thermos ) .
Can't recall anything else but were they standard or personalised by the local Bobby, maybe a heater in Winter or mini fridge in Summer.? Ken

Ken, you are correct..standard box was equipped with mini desk, stool, and heater, (not sure about a fridge) some little boxes even fitted with electric lighting..other essentials consisted of first aid kit, and fire extinguisher!
Imagine some were made a lot cosier than others

Isn't Stanley south of Wellington?
Or, is it just that it's so small it's not counted as a city?
As an aside, I mentioned story of my life above - typical I changed the one I had correct for a duffer on my second stab!

I never said but understood most would figure Sovereign State capitals and Stanley wouldn't qualify on that criteria. K
ps. Never heard of Nuuk but will check it and Port Stanley cos it will keep me awake at night not knowing. K
pps. Bern you would have right about Nuuk & Port Stanley in terms of geography.
Nuuk is just a few miles North of Reykjavik. Never been to either place, no trees to
chop down but maybe a cruise destination some day. K
