Hi, I've been researching my family tree who were from Bootle and have found older generations were Pentony - shoe and boot manufacturers in Liverpool and Fishwick were Pawnbrokers & Jewellers.
Wondered if any photos or information? Many thanks for you help.

Smashing photo`s again Bob.....Hubby Ghattas lived in 76 Canning Street from 1968 /73 when he first came here.Quite a few of the Shakespeare staff lived there, an absolutely beautiful building inside and out. Talk about league of nations , there were Egyptian, Maltese, Irish and Turkish as well as English and they all got on really well. all had their own large flats with no doubling up...Thanks for showing Bob that pic has brought back some memories.
