Oriel station still very much open, much improvement taken place over the years,
Suppose they had to move with the times, although I preferred the old style Oriel station!!
Guess nothing ever stays how we remember it!

The site of the old Paradox nightclub in Aintree, the club was shut in 2001 after local residents made a series of allegations about violence, drug use, and underage drinking.

Hi joe was wandering if there was any old photies of the old Marsh lane the house next door to Tommy Lewis scrap yard opposite Audley st. the old houses before the new flats on Marsh lane we all grew up there(keep up the great work Joe) /Davey

Interesting fact for you Bernie, I moved from Netherton to Netherton! Where I now live there is also a Bootle, a Crosby and a St Helens (industrial estate)

I was also a van lad from 1975 - 1977 Loretta; I got sacke for going to watch Everton in the League Cup final in the March. Bosshogg went to maryport for a week last year what a nice harbour that is, the fresh fish shop all the trallers coming in and load off to the fish shop.
Fresh fish every day. What about the fish shop over the bridge on the right.
