Oriel station still very much open, much improvement taken place over the years,
Suppose they had to move with the times, although I preferred the old style Oriel station!!
Guess nothing ever stays how we remember it!

The site of the old Paradox nightclub in Aintree, the club was shut in 2001 after local residents made a series of allegations about violence, drug use, and underage drinking.

When I was young, we used to get letters addressed to Radnor Drive Bootle and they were intended for Cumbria not Lancashire. It happened often enough for me, as a young teenager, to remember.

I was also a van lad from 1975 - 1977 Loretta; I got sacke for going to watch Everton in the League Cup final in the March. It didn't really matter, I was getting finished up in the May anyway due to turning 18 :D
