Overall a good game although our passing in the 2nd half was not very good. One question I have, we were 3-2 down, the Liverpool goalie passed the ball to a defender, without any Arsenal player challenging for the ball we managed to put together 11 passes before the ball actually left the Liverpool half, is this the way to play when losing?

Scored three beauties,
let in three poor goals.
New keeper for me

He played well when he came on Ken. He can do a job against some teams but can be out muscled by others.

I reckon Ibe and Can will get better and Lallana has the skills and the ability along with Coutinhio to become a midfield to be reckoned with. Firminio behind Sturridge if and when fit could work. We just need a new goalkeeper and cover at centre half.

He was a good player with Southampton Ken I think he just needed time to settle in

If you don't take your chances, you get punished, simple. Herr Flopp has a busy time ahead of him in the transfer market if he is to turn Liverpool into a realistic threat to the top 4 any time soon. Special mention must be given to the ex blue Wayne Rooney, how good must he be feeling right now, scoring the winner against the Pool at Anfield and in the process breaking the record for the most goals scored for one club (pity it wasn't for Everton), some player. Watching the game only Can had a reall go at goal. The rest of the players attempting shots on goal should take up rugby as looks like they were going for field goals. Manager has a hard road ahead, I do not envy him but wish him lots of luck, it will be hard to attract top players to a middle of the road club.

It seems the art of defending has gone out of the English game Bob. So many goals from corners and set pieces against all teams. Foreign coaches liking "zonal marking" or a variation of it are to blame I reckon. Never seemed to get so many with good old fashioned man to man marking. Agree with you, we are hopeless at it but at least Toure still can defend, the other fellah frightens me whenever he's near our goal

Jermaine Pennant 33 , has signed for a Singapore club @ £19500 per month.
Still earning this under achieving ex LFC player
He had the talent but not the commitment , could probably have earned £100 K per week if he'd behaved .

What I can't understand Ken is, if Benteke is so good in the air, as Michael Owen said, then why don't we cross the ball from the wings instead of trying to walk the ball in.

I'm not sure he is that good Eddy. That header he did have was a sitter and he fluffed it.
Hard to judge on last nights game, too much individual tricky stuff for me, all the young lads trying to make their mark.
I would like to see him start and play to him, then judge. His worth last night was a couple of good defensive headers
Cheers Ken

Norwich 4 Liverpool 5!
Definitely more good luck rather than good management.
I agree with a previous poster, Firmino is definitely not a 50/50 tackle exponent.
Three points comes in handy though.

Good use of subs by Klopp. Taking Ibe off surprised Macca & Hoddle but Lallana certainly made a difference. Benteke held the ball up well and did some nice passes in the short time he was on. What on earth was Moreno doing? I'd move that tattooed midget out now Flanno is fit.

Re: Norwich 4 - Liverpool 5... Saturday 23rd of January 2016.
Totally bonkers match. Mr Klopp losing his glasses at the end
and all the team jumping on top of the boss at the end. Very entertaining game. I watched it thinking OMG throughout

Madder than a Mat Hatters tea party is the only way to describe this game.

What a game that was
had me up and down in the chair
. That's why l like the premiership what a game for action.
Going out to buy some of sunday papers now see what they say. Credit to Klopp for subs in the game but still poor in the back.
Lallana came off the bench to inspire the visitors at Carrow Road and hit a last-minute volley into the corner

What would our great defenders think of shipping 4 against?
Yeats, Smith, Byrne, Lawler, Neal, Hansen, Lawrenson, Hyyppia etc etc etc .
Shanks & Paisley probably turned in their grave.
It was a win but I've seen it 4 times now - SHOCKING is my opinion

Spot on Ken, Moreno is a liability defending, Toure is past his sell by date, Sakho still got a lot to learn Clyne is the best of the four I think Skrtel and Lovren and hopefully Flanagan will steady the ship.
