Hi Kirky - I don't know if these are your Kirks, but I do have some info. on the Kirks.
George Kirk married a Margaret Ann Guy. (I have no info. on them)
They had a son named John Kirk born April 29, 1888, in Bootle. He marries an Alice O'Toole born Feb. 19, 1892 in Bootle.
They have a daughter named Marion Kirk August 23, 1913, in Seaforth, a daughter named Joan Barbara Kirk born March 11, 1918, in Granston, Wavertree, West Derby, Englandand a son named John Kirk born around 1920.
Then they all had children....and so on.
I am indirectly connected through Alice O'Toole's mother - Mary Shanley - and have been in contact with other Kirk descendents here in the U.S. who gave me all of the above info.
If you think this is your family, I would love to hear from you. - Mary in Virginia in the U.S.

Kirk December 26th 1916, suddenly at 51 Belper Street Garston, Geoffrey aged 11, the dearly beloved son of Andy & Jeannie Kirk. Internment at Allerton Cemetery Saturday 3.00 p.m.
My 'relative' is the son of Elsie Janet Kirk born 1896. he has just turned 91 but does not know anything about his father or mothers sides of the family when young as his dad Albert Bain did not get on well with her family although they were living in 50 Belper Street later on after they married about 1920.
