Another one of Bootiful Bootle taken last Sunday - you can clearly see Derby Park. I have happy memories of that park (only I thought it was so much bigger back then  ) like the boating lakes, bridges, fancy steps and balustrades, bands playing on the rotunda on summer evenings and so on........ Hope you don't mind the size, I know you'll have to scroll but left it that way so you could see detail :)

Thanks Emma
Another great picture , my wifes family lived on Worcester Road right opposite the park , and me living in Park Street meant we spent many happy days in the park , playing cowboys and indians in the black hills , and later in life playing on the excellent bowling greens .
Thanks Emma for bringing back those memories .
