Postby GabsHarnan » Tue Feb 05, 2019 1:05 pm

Hi, New to all this. Hope I am on the right forum :D :D .
Can anyone tell me is there a workers registration or any record of people who worked on the docks. I am looking for information about my Dad and Granddad. My Dad was a Cabinet Maker and Joiner y Granddad a Foundary Man.

As far as I know my Dad worked on the Herculainium Dock not sure where my Granddad did. This was late 40's to early 50's .

Who's who Gabs?

It's a long shot, but if you know their National Insurance Numbers the people below might be able to help. Just give them as much information as you can find.

Best doing it by post.

hi, Many thanks for your replies. As for whos who in the photo, my Granddad is in the middle wearing the cap, his name was william (Bill) Thomas and he was famed for always being first there never late. I don't know who the other men are.
