Great pic bob, my garage is just after the brick wall, bottom left about 50 feet up, house was bombed and never rebuilt on, hence the 7 garages in place.
I think a pic was posted years ago here of the damage from a bomb on cunard road, infact you probably told us lol, Also the house bottom left corner was the original sausage works, but you probably new that

Bob. A great photo, reminding me of my youth in Bootle. Terraced houses, no cars but handcarts and perambulators, a factory chimney and relaxed people. It only lacks the presence of jiggers and factories but they're not far away. Walshy.
