Didn't know where to post these photos them not being scenes of Bootle. Just thought they were interesting.
I was looking for a photo of my grandad Jones with his horse, he was a Carter and posted it on another thread but found these also.

My grandad and grandma Jones with their six sons celebrating their 50th anniversary photographed in their parlour at 162 Bedford Road.

And with their daughters in law. This will have been early 1950s

Found this clipping from the Bootle Times.
Would have been about 1932.
William would have been my uncle, my mum's younger brother, she was six when he died.
This happened at the entrance to the North Park by the roundabout.
