Tom Jones was almost opposite Ford Cemetry James not by Holy Ghost and the Big Hill
The Stand Park was further up nearer Sterrix Lane. There was no pub near the Holy Ghost but the Social Club was there. :D Ken

I had many a pint in the "LA" it was just around the corner from me when I lived at the bottom of Sterrix Lane near the junction with Gorsey Lane. 👍

One mention of a pub and everyone's posting. :D :D :D

Note to self; forget railways and concentrate on pubs. :D

In the late 60's, my older brother and his mates always started out their Saturday nights in Tom Jones', then headed off into town.

I think some pubs are missed more than others. The LA being a case in point.
