My Mum lived at 9 Milton Street from 1958-1965, it was the house I was born in. I have searched and searched for photos of the street the way it was before it was demolished. If anyone has any old photos, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Anita

Hi Bob, thanks so much for the photos! The 1962 registry has confused me and I have to talk to my Mum later, her name was Norma Maunton so I am not sure why the name for #9 is different, maybe she got the dates wrong.
I really appreciate the photo of before it was demolished, I have looked for a long time for one.
Thanks:)

Hi Bob, I talked to mum and apparently she changed her last name to king (from Mcgugan and Maunton before that) for a few years when she owned that house so mystery solved! They had Norman but her name is Norma so a slight error.
Thanks again:)
Anita
Ps. I was looking at other photos on the thread and was thrilled to see pics of Balliol Terrace on Millers Bridge, Mum lived there as a young girl.
