The old wooden landing Stage at the Pier Head towards the end of its days 1970s. In the background you can see the Royal Insurance building still in progress, it got the nickname the Sandcastle. :D

I was only looking at the Sand castle, the other night on the way to work, Joe and wondered what it was used for. Now I know, thanks mate. :D

A scene of the Cunard Building in August 1916, with hoardings around it.
At the Pier Head frontage remaining just a few weeks after it's opening. :D

The carriage immediately behind the locomotive was a " Beaver-Tail Observation Car ", which on its
journey to Liverpool would have been at the rear of the train. The locomotive would take the empty
train to Lime Street station, probably to the buffer stops at platform 7, so now the " Beaver-Tail " is
again at the rear of the train.

Jarvis Robinson Transport number ADM 354 is a Leyland Beaver from 1937.
This Leyland is preserved and is seen at Transport Rallies.

Skeleton of the old overhead railway, 1950/60s what an asset that would’ve been these days. :( :(
