Hello Joe, is it the Strand, it looks to me like the corner of Stanley Road and Balliol Road, (east side). Can't remember the name of the building but i do remember going into it to tax a car. JJC.

You’re right John. the building with the advert on the side of it is Exeter road you can also see Connolly house. It could’ve been Balliol House or St Peters House. I’ve just put the New Strand up instead of Bootle, hope you forgive me.
Cheers Joe.

Berry Street 1978. Sorry, guys, I’d written the wrong street name in a moment of forgetfulness, in my document files. I’ve amended it to read Berry Street.

Seaforth Road from the Bridge in 1979. That's Cain’s Scrapyard in the foreground in School lane. And if I'm not forgetful, you can see the old Seaforth social club, just past Cain's yard.

Only just noticed this, it is not Canal Street it is Berry Street looking towards Bridge Street on the left hand side, (Clarence pub). JJC.fatboyjoe90 wrote:Canal Street 1978.
