These photos are from the pages of the Bootle Centenary Celebrations 1935 Souvenir booklet I came across hope that it is of some interest.

Bonesy,
Very interesting souvenir booklet.
Remember very well Parr's, also Aunt Sally disinfectant, used to take an empty bottle to get filled. My old school on Breeze Hill, health centre in Knowsley Road......................................memories.

Really enjoyed that, so many great memories. The price of houses on Southport Road!

I managed to get Richard's copy of the Journal of the Institution of Municipal & County Engineers.
It contains an 88 page report from William Arthur Harrison, the Borough Engineer & Surveyor presented
to members of the above institution on April 7 1938.
I'll scan it and post it in parts.
I missed out on a copy of the Bootle Times Centenary insert from 1935. I put in an early bid but missed a later bid.
There's a copy in the LSE library. Then I googled it. Who would have guessed, this site came up.
I've reposted Keith's photos taking out the photobucket logo.
The Bootle Charter Party.
Bootle Fire Chief.
Also found this bronze commemorative medal on sale for the centenary of St Mary's School guide price £14.
