Here's a scene from sometime in the 1950's, sorry exact date unknown.
I'm sure some of you will appreciate the Pre-fabs in the background.

Remember Phil Gill living in one, his Dad was the groundsman and he went onto play and I think Captain Bootle. Spent many a Saturday down at B C C.

That's our prefab second from the right...13 South Park Way.
My dad used to stand on a chair at the window and watch the matches but
the Gill family lived in one of the two that
where opposite St Richards Church in Wadham Road close to Miranda Road and were a little
different design to the South Park ones. We lived there from 1947/8 until they were pulled down
in the very early 60's.
