We moved out 1972, and the whole area (Brookhill Rd) etc gone soon after. My nan would be on your list at No 7. Mum and dad married 1963 and we moved there (after a spell in Lambeth Rd) by the time I was 1 or two?

I was born in Mill Lane in 1964. it was the second house from the bottom in the photo. OMG!! Opposite was the Black Bull engineering works and opposite cottages in the foreground was the TA center...which had the indoor rifle range. :) :) :)

hi wardy, just noticed this post. my memory not to good these days but from 1941-1955 ish a distant aunt of mine lived in that house, don't remember her surname but I used to call her aunti ann. I lived at 283 hawthorne road opposite Christ church school from 1941-1960. regards billy.
