Bob you are a cart, sorry card
My handcart days are well over, spent many a time pushing a handcart around Crosby, Waterloo & Blundellsands in the 60s/70s.

Loved it though as it meant less time on the job

As a boy I remember Mortons shop in the Crescent-last shop before the corner of Moss Lane -just down from Dr Flanergans, There was a Blonde woman whoes mother served in the shop, when you got bread from Her she was s**t hot making sure she got all your "BUs"(Ration Points)before she gave you the bread-which she put into an open OXO tin-if You could distract her you could reach through and knock off a handfull of these coupons.
The bread was from Crones on Moss Lane just up the road --Lovely bread.

Jimmy joined Merseyside Police last saw in on Duty in Paradise Street in 1976 scared the daylights out of me.

Jimmy's sister was indeed Evelyn who sadly died about five years ago.
Queenies name i believe was Elizabeth. She also passed away 3 years ago.
