Cool pics, ta! for these... Just spotted the Johnsons building at the back and worked out were the pic was taken from. It is Knowsley Road just before the railway bridge - looking down the road from the 3 Banks. Croxteth Road is right next door were i grew up.

Ahh Sheelagh...I thought the same as you I used to go there with
friends on a Friday night to Bingo 50/60 ...a Mr Kelly used to run it we had
some good times there (easily pleased)..we got the bus there and
walked home to Bridle Ave ...we laughed all the way ...memories

Dorothy I think my Mum went to bingo there late 60,s early 70,s, also the labour club, she was always coming home with joints of meat she had won for Christmas

Thought I would share these here my mum was a volunteer here in the 80s I found these newspaper cuttings in mums memorabilia box
