It is sad to see them go but as you can see from the entry picture, they have had their day. Wonder where all that stone on the ground will end up? It looks like York stone, not your typical "Corpy" flag stone.

i think it is ordinary flags they were redone in the early 90s i think

I was down there today! Not many left now. I went there to have a chat with the site manager... I was looking to salvage/reclaim a pallet of Bricks. My house in Aintree was built roughly the same time and uses the same glazed bricks... I have a lot of frost damage to the rear of my house and figured that if I got the same type of bricks from there, its something saved from the klondyke area...

Out on the bike on Sunday in that area and i was talking to an old Marsh Lane resident Jimmy Doyle (tut) he is one of the few remaining tenants still living amongst all of the deriliction and he still doesn't know when he is to be re housed or any idea where it will be. JJC.
