FABULOUS AGAIN DAN :)

I must admit I get a bit nervous though when I see you posting all these great piccys using free hosting service Postimage.

We don't have the bandwidth to host all the FAB photo's here so our site relies on third party photo hosting sites, so it's always important to be aware the photo's will never be online forever.

This also relates to any other free hosting services for photos.

Last time when there was a mess up in the past regarding Postimage breaking their image links I found a quick fix by changing all the links to a new URL in the embed code for each photo posted.

This was quite simple to do however it needed to be done on every single photo.

Don't worry though at this time, I'm just thinking into the future... Today is 25th September 2018... Someone in the future may be reading through this archive. I'm a time traveller LOL.

I'll go back in time and try my best to fix any broken links from whenever this post is being read.

Mack (Time Traveller)

Thanx again

Don't worry, if all else fails I shall start again, just like Sisyphus.
That was my first choice name for this website. Then I thought; The Archangel Gabriel, but I settled on Dan.
Anyway Mack what wins the 2019 Grand National?
And what is Everton's new ground like?

Cruel Ken. But at least you didn't say Vanarama.
Watched the game on Saturday. Peter Taylor managing Dagenham & Redbridge- they were beaten one nil. Goal in the 88th minute.
That's a hard way to earn a living.

Peter has had a few jobs locally.
I’ve seen him at Brighton, Maidstone and Gillingham, he’s very popular at Brighton.

Hi Dan,

I'm under strict instructions from the 'TIME CONTINUIM' overlords (This is a secret organization that does not exist yet in this current time line) not to reveal any future information regarding this type of information due to it unbalancing the present with information that could result in a paradox, which in turn could result in Henry 'Buying money' taking over the world with all his winnings

Dan. More great shipping photos, thanks. I particularly liked the dredger pump, having worked on these many years ago. Walshy.

For me, if the picture hadn't have been captioned Sand Pump , I wouldn't have had a clue.
Maybe an ice cream or bread maker at a push.
If it doesn't fit into a test tube I'm lost.

The Port of Liverpool and Liverpool Castle

King John reigned from 1199-1216. He gave Liverpool its charter in 1207.
Although Liverpool had no dock, there was a quayside (now somewhere under James Street ) for goods and people to be transferred. See extract below.

Image

Liverpool Castle was built between 1232 and 1235, It was completely demolished by 1726. The site became home to two versions of St George's Chapel and then the Victoria Monument. Derby Square.
The castle provided protection for the city and the port.

A link for A History of the Castle is given at the end, for HSLC Vol 42 (1890). It's 67 pages long.

I've seen the A5036/ Rimrose Valley project mentioned a couple of times on other threads.

This is the link for the Scoping Opinion, published March 2018. It's 177 pages.
