bob, those leylandi have a lot to answer for. some in bowles st one hanging over 1 pensioners bungalow cant be much light in their bungalow and the ones on the deepdale estate some backing onto knowsley road taller than the houses 40-50ft high and still growing strong I love my plants and trees but couldn't cope with trees that tall blocking out the light no thanks very much. If your down knowsley rd Bob take a look at them, even the apple trees are 20 ft high when the estate was built they were meant to give some quick country side look, if you cut them down now you'd be before the beak quicker than you can say leylandi.steve ps bob is that merton balliol road area.
