Fernhill Road

Hi all, I have just been reading about a gang who have been selling drugs & etc., They are called the Fernhill gang. Are they called that because of Fernhill Road, I was born and raised there opposite the 'fever hospital' that became St Monicas school. I would hate to think the lovely, safe road I grew up on is now an unpleasant place to be.

cheers,

Sheila, who lived in 108, the second house from Ainsdale road. I was queen on Coronation day.

Walked up Fernhill Road every day in early 60's to go to St Monicas. I emigrated in 1975 and hate to think that the place has gone so dangerous. Makes me sad.
Lived in Captains Lane, emigrated to NZ then Oz
