Hello All

Some may be aware that at Linacre Methodist Mission a bid to restore part of the building and turn it into a Heritage Centre for the local area. We are hoping to host days for school children and give them an insight into what it was like to live in the Edwardian times. We will also be educating the children about prominent Victorians who helped set up the mission and their influence on the local area.

We are looking for a team of people who will help to establish a history package and take on some responsibilities for role playing or researching topics that will enable the heritage centre to run. The mission has managed for over 100 years to be self sufficient but now with dwindling congregation numbers we are appealing for people with an interest in the local area to come forward and help up make it happen.

If you know about history and have spare time, if you are interested in amateur dramatics and would like to help create characters for school visits or if you have spare time and want to use it in the most rewarding way please get in touch.

Thank you.
