My grandparents James Evans and Agnes Evans (new Mulhern) had 4 children Lillian, Robert, Amy (twins) and Stephen. Lillian married Ronald Webb and had a daughter called Ann who I met in 1989 who had a son call David whom I met and a daughter called Lisa who is married to David. Robert married but not sure to whom and had two sons don't know name, I believed he died after the war. Amy never married, died young whilst living with her grandmother, Stephen my father married Margaret McHale and had myself and brother Damian. We immigrated to Australia in 1969. Dad had contact with a cousin called Cecilie or known as Cissy. She was in St Helens or St Annes. My grandmother was a nurse and died 38. My grandfather died in the 1950s. When my grandmother died my grandfather couldn't care for them so they were spread out amongst family and my dad three went to an orphanage. He remembered someo e called Crawford ? Granny coming to take him and see family. I am trying to chase anyone down. Tx you Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I came across your post by chance about James and Agnes, James would have been my Grand Uncle.
I'm not sure I can answer all your questions but can fill in a bit of detail around James and Agnes children.
You say they had 4 children, I can trace 4 as well, but some have different names, so maybe there were 5?
I can agree on Lilian Patricia and your Father.
I can't trace any Robert in the line, but you may have more family information than me.
You mention Amy (twins), I have Mary Agnes who I think is your Amy as she was born in 1912 and died 1936 at 4 Glynne St Bootle which was the home of her Grandmother Anne, my Great Grandmother.
She is intered with her father James in Ford Cemetary.
I also John James who was also born in 1912, a twin? in the 1939 register he was a boarder and worked as a dock labourer.
I'll see what else I can find out and let you know if you are still interested.
Regards,
Keith Evans

Hi,
Some years ago when I was researching my Evans family from Bootle there was a post about the Evans Twins of Flint St.
I have kept this photo for some time now as my family also had twins and lived at 3 Flint St. I will see if I can put up a photo for you. It may well still be able to be accessed here on this forum. Will try here first.
Hope you have had some luck in finding your family.
