Hi Lily, in 1881 Robinson is 51 freestone miner older kiddies bn Ire.
Hugh 7 and Eliz 1 born in Cumberland.
No Peter listed.
Must have come over from Ireland around 1873?
Sadly a Robinson Rooney died as a baby in Cumb 1877.
There's a Griffiths listing for Ro Ro in Comber Co Down 1864.

Hi Macy
Ellen 10 in 1881 was also born in Ireland.
I cannot find them in 1891 census or deaths for Robinson and Agnes in England.

Fathers names Robinson Rooney Shop Keeper and John Watson Labourer

the witnesses names are difficult to read and look like Johan Forgone? and Mary Christaffision???

Good guess Miss Marple!
I ploughed backward through the census pages and go to page 30 where it says Dun and in little letters above it das...
From them on all it says is Dun.
What a jam packed st it was with all the courts.
Before the start of Dundas we have Drake St listings.
First page, in this block starts at Balloil Rd & the last Derby road.
