Jean was the daughter of Tom Bell the longest serving Chief Constable of Bootle Police, (24yrs).

Jean Brown (Bell) was the only daughter of Thomas Bell who was the brother of my Grandmother Catherine Ferguson Cook ( Bell). Jean Married William Brown and had no offspring.
