The boys look great Bee, love the wigs.
Lunch looks nice and healthy Ken.
Bee love the sunset pics, lucky you.
I got interested in sunsets through John, he was colourblind, but loved paining and dabbled in landscapes.
We would go for a drive of an evening looking at sunsets.
He would ask me to tell him all the colours I could see, at first I said red and yellow.
Then when he made me really take the scene in, and I started to see purples, blues.

Gorgeous flowers Kath and what a good photographer you are. John's advice about looking for the colours in sunsets has obviously paid off; you've got a real "artist's eye".

Thanks, Kathy & Shelagh. They make out "Like Bandits" over here as they
also receive wedding gifts at the Reception from other guests that have
been invited to the wedding, which I have heard is around 150!!!!! Just hope
the weather is accommodating as it is in January!!!!

While Jillian, Thom & Family were here for Thanksgiving they
very kindly took all the Christmas Decorations down from the
loft and Thom then started placing all the lighting outside as I'm
hopeless at that!! Unbeknown to me, (he is a bit of a prankster)
he also bought and placed a huge Santa in the Front Garden
that automatically fills up and then deflates at a certain time.
It was rather a shock the first time I first saw his head through
the bedroom window but I must admit, I have now grown
"accustomed to his face!!!" It is rather nice to see a
waving hand when one is returning home.

Last time visiting we took the Liverpool Tour and came across these concrete
luggage cases depicting various people who had made a difference living in
Liverpool. I was surprised to see the name of my girlfriend's Grandfather on
one of the cases.

Great pic Patricia and thanks for bouncing this lovely thread back up.
Here's one of my girl when she got "man" of the match a few months ago.... I know it's a while back as those front teeth have come through now

That is one very impressive Trophy!!! Love that she is enjoying
the sport so much...Congratulations & All the Very Best to her !!
Had Jillian & Family in for Easter and once again the Tree Swing
was the #1 attraction, although it is hard work for the "Pushers!"

Bee, Fantastic, the girls are really holding their own against the boys at football now. Here's to many more trophy's to come. Well done.
Patricia, the tree swing looks great fun. Have you noticed the kids never show mercy for the poor pushers, it's always "just one more go"
How weird recognising one of the names on the suitcase display. I love when things like that happen. Many years ago I visited Sefton church for a flower festival, I stepped into an opening inside the church and suddenly felt ice cold, looking down I was standing on a grave stone, the name engraved was Clara Coppinger, my maiden name, and my mothers Christian name. The date of the internment was two hundred years to the day, 16th August, which also happened to be my birthday. One of my ancestors perhaps sending a greeting.

Miv Your story made me have goose bumps!!!
My middle daughter Janine has taught 9th Grade High School for the past fourteen
years and believe me in this day and age it is no easy task. Her sense of humour
keeps her going and this is what she posted on Twitter today - had to share it with
you........

It's been a LONG week, heading for this weekend with my best cartwheel since 1970...look at the focus in the eyes and the determined set of the chin. #childhood #cartwheel

Haha! Patricia
Pity Janine with all those high school kids; hardly surprising she wants to perform her best cartwheel yet
Hope she won’t mind if I practice some of those brilliant moves (never know when a cartwheel might come in handy)
Could possibly manage to raise the left arm eyes might eventually focus
Bit of work necessary on elevation of right leg won’t even notice the pain after first few dozen falls
Then Eureka - it’s cartwheels all the way
Lovely happy Twitter from Janine
Thanks Patricia

Shelagh - I just know you and Janine would get on like a
"House on Fire!" I will be sure to show her your very humorous reply!
The heck of it all is, that Janine can still do a pretty good Cartwheel as
I found out while she was entertaining the Grandchildren in the back
garden who were visiting from SF last week. Wish I'd had my camera handy!!!!

My Orchid, the one I have had the longest going on four
years, is once again blooming, which immediately brought
to mind "Dorothy" whom I have not seen posting for
quite some time. Dorothy gave me such good advice
on the care of Orchids.
Does anybody have any information as to how she is
doing? Hope all is well with her.

Thanks Phil, not, hate spiders.
I remember John going to do a job for a guy, and he said watch out for Cyril,
John nearly fell off the ladder when he saw Cyril, the guys pet Huntsman.

You are the sweetest, Shelagh!!!! x
Gaynor, Meghan & Trevor worked long and hard and did a wonderful job on the Patio fence over the weekend!
I had it power washed and didn't realize it then had to have a protective varnish coat applied! Oh my, but it
does look lovely and if it's any consolation for them, I noticed on the can that it lasts for FIVE years - Thank Goodness! xxx
