Sad to see that Charlie Watts has passed away, aged 80. Love or hate the Stones, Charlie was a rock steady drummer.
RIP Charlie.

Absolutely Phil.

Never been a Stones fan really but still respect them for their output.

Charlie always looked the odd man out!!! Went to see the Stones many moons ago on the Empire. A pal of mine wanted to go and see them but didn't have anyone to go with. I was more into the Beatles.
RIP Charlie

From The Guardian.

Summer of '72, listening to Brown Sugar and Tumbling Dice on the jukebox of The Central, Pier Street, Aberystwyth.

Dan, thank you for posting Charlie Watts' obituary. I was quite surprised to read of his alcohol and drug problems. Even though the rest of the group involved themselves in drugs during the early days I always thought Charlie was the poster guy of the group.
