Another easy one; Ten For Starters - started in the 60s, still continues today :)

Thanks Shelagh, here's one a little harder from the seventies.

How did a first class session singer, get mixed up with a children's show?

Not that one, Bernie. I think you'd have to be in the Ivy league of pop to get this tv programme. :D

If it’s the person I’m thinking of, the show would be The Flower Pot Men..going back in history a bit, but The Ivy League had a few different lineups, Tony Burrows (session singer) was part of the trio during the sixties..I just happened to be a fan, so got to see them on the Empire, will never forget those lovely high pitched voices :)
Tony Burrows left the trio to start up another band “Flowerpot Men” that would be the connection :)

Wow, Shelagh, you should get it because you know nearly everything about Tony Burrows, but you've got the wrong decade. Don't let anyone Pip you at the post for this one. :D

Don't get the last clue but was thinking of Play School as it featured Lionel Morton from The Four Pennies group.

Welcome to the forum Roza. I don't know whether you are posing a question, or asking who is the winner. If you are posing a question, you have to answer the previous question correctly. Just like Bernie has done with his answer, the Persuaders. Well done, Bernie.
