Name “Wolfie” based on Irish revolutionary, Wolfe Tone - not just a tele Quiz this, pick up all sorts here
Sorry Loretta been so busy working on a friends family tree, eyes were sore, removed the specs, then couldn’t see the print in front of me
Well done!

Spot on Phil.
I remember going to a show where the MC said goodnight by wishing us to all live long enough to see the end of the DFS sale!

It's not so much the cryptics that are the problem.
Phil has taken offence to a comment on the 'Not a footy thread' posts and seemingly decided it's time to leave us all.
Sad to see him go - especially in the circumstances - but it's his choice.

Hi, Phil, thanks for keeping us entertained with cryptic thread, you’ve certainly kept the old brain matter going
Had a feeling it was Onedin Line (stuck on Spartacus) thought it was an anagram, never thought of a flipping boat
Really good question, and thanks again for memorable quiz

Sorry about the hiatus, guys, I made a bad choice last night, Another member put me right about the vitriolic football poster, so I've deleted the comments I made and decided not to let him affect me remaining on the forum. Apologies to anyone who read the post, my language was not acceptable.
Anyway, I feel that Shelagh should set the next poser, as she thought it was the Onedin Line. Spartacus, was the piece of music they used as the theme.
