Manhunt

Postby Invicta » Wed Jan 09, 2019 12:34 pm

Did anyone see Manhunt over the last 3 nights. Brilliant , true life story based on DCI Colin Sutton’s investigation into the murder of French girl Amelie le Grange . His eye for detail and thoroughness led to the conviction of Levi Belfield who was also convicted of several other murders and eventually charged with the Milly Dowler murder.
Colin was played by Martin Clunes, he of “ Men Behaving Badly and Doc Martin “ fame, what a fine actor he’s become.
It was on ITV for anyone wantin* to use Catchup.

I agree. Excellent series showing excellent work as they sifted through the clues.

However, I was amazed and bemused that a 'thorough' search of a house never included the loft.

Very. very basic and if that were my team then heads would roll.

Agreed Ernie - I thought the same.

Another glaring boo-boo was when they loaded the prisoner, with front-stack handcuffs applied, into a car behind the driver seat - surely a cell van or at the very least behind the passenger seat!

I thought it was a good watch, it turned out that the big hard man Levi Belfield was nothing more than a coward.

Telly at it's best, :D
