Liverpool Football Club in the recent past attempted to furlough hundreds of low paid workers at Anfield football stadium yet they don't have a problem when it comes to spending (wasting) thousands and thousands of pounds on a meaningless fireworks display, beggars belief.
Reports in the media that some of the fans ignored pleas from the police and Liverpool F C to stay away from the area around the stadium (how selfish is that) once again dragging the good name of the city into the gutter, again. JJC.

Not like the Everton supporter from near Southport firing the flares at the liver bird Really sad at that as the building is owned by a blue
As you are not celebrating why not jump on bandwagon and pretend you are a red

Henry, you are a star, thank you for putting me wise, i have been labouring under the misapprehension that he was a Liverpool supporter/fan, i unreservedly apologise to all reds. He should never ever be allowed to darken the doors of Goodison Park again. JJC.

Henry, he has already attempted to brighten the place up, William Ralph Dean looked radiant after he presented him with a flare. JJC.

Hello Everton supporters, One of my brothers, Alan, was a lifelong Everton supporter, and he passed away in 2014,
and following cremation, his ashes were placed in the wall at the rear of St Lukes Church following a farewell service
in the church. The wall appears to be part of one of the grandstands, so what will happen when Everton F.C. move to
their new stadium in the near future ?. I expect that the remains of many Everton supporters are also in the wall.
Best regards, Ray Smyth.

The talk in the past has been about the possibility of supporters ashes and other pitchside memorials being laid to rest within the grounds of St Lukes, it looks as though your brothers and the ashes of any other supporters interred in the wall will remain where they are.
The club has said they had no plans to relocate ashes/urns or memorial plaques to the new stadium at Bramley Moore dock, Goodison Park shall remain the spiritual home of the deceased supporters.
I can assure you that Everton Football Club will be sympathetic to the wishes of the families of deceased supporter's.JJC.

Going to be a very interesting season now. Hard to believe the signings that have been made and not yet finished. On TV on Sunday as well.

In the words of another famous lover of the mighty Everton Football Cub, true blue scouser Paul McCartney,
I've got to admit it's getting better. A little better all the time. JJC.

Getting better evry day.
| Abdoulaye Doucouré has agreed a 4-year contract with Everton - Watford have rejected an opening bid from the Toffees, who will make a 2nd offer imminently - full story.
Not yet finished either.

Well who would have thought it. Everton beat Spurs at Spurs. Maybe, just maybe there is a team in the making here.

Hard not to be optimistic after that performance, we now officially have a midfield, found myself thinking back to how i felt after the Bournemouth game at the end of last season, we are now on a different planet. JJC.

Good performance from Everton. I just hope they don’t play like that against Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have just spent MILLIONS on player recruitment, obscene amounts of money, just remind me again, who were the two English Premier League clubs that tried to furlough non playing staff. JJC.

Had to get up at 5-30 AM to watch the game. Well worth it though. Must say it's time for a new goalie. How the heck did CA get Allan to sign for us.This guy is world class. Keep it up lads.

We had a bad goalie KARIUS who cost us a European final so we got rid of him and bought a new goalie who is one of the best and then went on to win a European cup

Anyone remember the Troggs hit from the 60s, With a girl like you, went something like this.
To the top of the league we're going, Ba ba ba ba, ba ba ba,
To the rest our ar$es we're showing, Ba ba ba ba, ba ba ba,
James Rodriguez with his short black hair,
With him no one can compare, to the top of the league we're going. JJC.
(changed that from Alex Young with his short blond hair)

Gawd JJ. Hope you can play the piano.
Pickford still scares me in goal. Need a goalie quick and a BIG centre half. Ah well, top of the league if only for a few hours.
