Still not a fan;😳 Imo his ball control is poor, and so is his passing, and far too greedy.
I await all the flack.

So they did it. Despite all the warnings of those they support and those that know better.

Families are now at serious risk and football fans don't care. Not just Liverpool fans....all of them. Shallow minded, ignorant, tunnel vision idiots who only have the football craze to live...or die...for. I love football....but not as much as the safety of my family.

I would think that Donald Trump must be an avid British football fan. Thick as two short planks.

Agreed Ernie.

Leeds and WBA fans were also out in force last night although, for some reason, not as widely reported as our lot.

PS - did any of the Reds watch the video I posted a little further up this thread? Thought it was fab myself.

Ernie, I would not say families are at SERIOUS risk. According to Official testing figures yesterday, Sefton has the highest coronavirus rate in Merseyside, and in a week only 18 people Tested positive for Covid-19. That equates to 6.5 people per 100,000 in a WEEK. Liverpool’s rate was 4.2 per 100,000. On those figures I would say you have a far bigger chance of getting cancer or having a heart attack.

Can't say I expected anyone on here to attempt to minimise ANY foolhardy turn out in the present situation. . Minimal risk is okay unless it comes home and then the stats wont mean a thing.

They put their families are at more risk….that is serious.

Ernie, why do you not expect anyone on the Liverpool FC forum to agree with you? I suppose you think all Everton FC supporters would be goodie goodies.
Ernie there are approx. 65m people in this country, and there are about 25,500 seriously injured in car accidents/per year. By my calculations this works out to 49 people per 100,000 injured every week. This is approx 8 times more chance of being injured in a car accident than testing positive for Covid-19. Does this stop you going out in your car?

Bill. It matters not which supporters are stupid. I referred to ALL.

But, look at another angle. Blackburn and Leicester areas are going into lockdown again because of a spike in those places. It is a FACT that gatherings that take no notice of social distancing cause spikes. If a spike occurs on Merseyside then you are ALL are back in lockdown .....so don’t complain if it happens.l and you continue to miss the games. The idiots won’t realise that their stupidity caused closing the pubs again, they close Anfield again and businesses go bust.

I did Bern and it made my eyes leak... it was the scarf that did it. My Boy still has his dad's that I embroidered..."1965 "was the first thing I stitched. How many stories the "lucky scarf" could tell......

Bernie, just watched the video you posted, brilliant and brought back many memories. I started watching Liverpool from the boys pen when they were in the second division and was in that home coming crowd in 1965. Must admit it made me fill up, thanks for posting it mate.

FWA Footballer of the Year 2020.

Since its inception in 1947/48, Jordan Henderson is the 12th Liverpool player to receive the award.

Kenny Dalglish and John Barnes were each voted twice Player of the Year, making this year the 14th triumph for an LFC player.

A regular in the Royal Court comedies these days Bill. Good lad - him and Paul Duckworth are always willing to have a chat in the Courtyard bar after the shows.

From the YNWA twitter feed.

Gives the date when LFC surpassed the total points of the other teams in the EPL.

The title clincher was the Bournemouth result on March 7.

Could have finished then, adding an asterisk saying "Last 9 games not required".

Bern, you're asking for the next reading from The Book of Lamentations.

Everybody beaten, bar City, with 15 games to go.

Been looking at the CAS ruling.

Looks like City put out their first team against UEFA Reserves.

Image

Found innocent, but got a €10,000,000 fine, plus €100,000 costs to be paid to UEFA.

City wanted to be able to produce written submissions if CAS found any breaches.

CAS told them to do one, in legal parlance.

That was City's take on the verdict, and Pep was looking for an apology from "The Hateful Eight".

City were found guilty of blanking UEFA's Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), that was investigating the FFP breaches.

UEFA is a football body. Financial wrongdoing is an enormously complex and unfathomable area, way beyond UEFA's competence.

If mega-rich people want to ignore FFP, there's several billion ways they can achieve that end.

Sheik Mansour's fortune is estimated at £17 billion. His family wealth in excess of £1 trillion.

His legal team could have bankrupted UEFA several times over by employing any number of legal manoeuvres.

UEFA are simply outmatched. If the Newcastle deal goes through, within 5 years the Prem will be Abu Dhabi v Saudi.

I've been astonished at LFC's achievements this past 12 months, but, realistically, the future competition will be for 3rd place,

with someone breaking the duopoly every few years.

This year has been brilliant though. :D
