Nice story from my recently widowed Sister in Law, Rose today.
Her Grandson, Tom, surprised her yesterday by saying we're going to the match.
Despite being an avid Red for nearly 70 years, she'd never been to Anfield ( always the domain of Harry my late Brother)
Anyway she thoroughly enjoyed the match and on leaving Tom nipped off to the toilet leaving her waiting.
Two very nice young men with impeccable English started talking to her and asked had she enjoyed the match and how long had she been coming to Anfield.
They were staggered to hear it was her first time then she went on to explain about Harry passing away at Christmas and how he was a Red who travelled all over before his illness.
Both lads asked could they give her a hug and were doing so when Tom returned saying "Aye Aye what's going on here ?
After introductions they went on their way and whilst walking down the road one of the lads caught them up to and said we want to give you this!
It was a Barcelona scarf, both lads, who it turned out were Spanish and avid Barca fans are trying to visit all the grounds of European Cup winners.
My SIL was quite touched and it cheered her up no end.

Why has Klopp dropped Fabinho & Lallana for Henderson & Milner?
I can only see a defensive display, but hope I'm wrong.

I hope Klopp tells them at half time that the team in red are Bayern and not Liverpool, and that they have to pass to the players in grey (or pink or whatever colour it is).

I should never have doubted Klopp.
But at least Fabinho played instead of Henderson. The last half hour was more like it should be, with the passing a lot better.
A great result without being a particularly great performance, but one I will gladly take.

Hey Henry,
Hooray... we did actually win by 2 goals so your prediction was right regarding the goal difference.
1 - 3.
FAB result

Morning Bill,
Initially I thought Fabhino was poor when he came on but he did well later.
I never heard Milners name mentioned in the first half.
Despite his OG, I thought Matip made some crucial blocks and tackles but he’s uncomfortable playing it out from the back and him and TAA got themselves in trouble a couple of times when playing it too short ( faffing around I call it )
We played many more longer direct balls last night trying to catch their slower central defenders.
Not much to say about Mane, he’s on fire and I thought Mo worked hard last night, doing a lot of tracking back, helping out TAA. Like you say, not a great game but a fantastic result.
Cheers Ken

Allianz Arena has a new owner - must be true it's on Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allianz_Arena
EDIT: They've fixed it now but it had been amended to say Sadio Mane owned the stadium

Good morning to you too Ken.
Yes a great result, just awaiting the draw now. Spurs would do for me.

Good to see the Reds back at the top of the league and well done to the Blues who are now top of the bottom half!
