Often wonder where the dig them up Phil. We had one in our local bowls club that was so high brow "Eggheads" would have struggled. Our team of regular quizzers got 7 of 20, normally would have expected 17/18. It was all Greek Mythology ,Classical music and remote history. Nearly caused a riot ( if 70 year olds can riot) and even the Vicar was heard to curse K

As an aside on the theme of holiday quiz nights - in Gran Canaria several years ago we won the bar quiz and looked forward to our prize - an Italian meal for two. Imagine the disappointment when presented with a tin of Spaghetti!

Ta, Ken. Here is a pop question that I heard on Tony Blackburn's show this morning.
What record"s lyrics, consist of just questions?
I'll let it run a day or two, Ken, if it's too specialised I'll ask another. I just found it fascinating that I've heard this record, countless times but did not make the connection

Not that one Bill, here are some of the lyrics.
You know someone said that the world's a stage
And each must play a part.
Fate had me playing in love you as my sweet heart.
Act one was when we met, I loved you at first glance.

Hi Phil, they are just the lyrics on the Elvis version.
The song was written by Lou Handman and did not include those words. The Mavericks and others have recorded it with just the original lyrics.

Yes ok Bill; I'll cede to your extensive general knowledge. I've Googled the Mavericks version and you are right. Even with Tony Blackburn's help I can't set a definitive question.
My answer was the Three Degrees with, When will I see you again. Hence my pedantry with Ken. So once bitten, twice shy, its your turn. Well done Bill. I should have known though, my wife is a big Mavericks fan. I think I'll pinch my next question out of the many quiz books I have, but I'll set it with the proviso that the quiz master is always right

Although I listened to Tony in the AM; i heard the record on Pick of the pops in the PM. Your record doesn't count Ken, as it has thesr lyrics.
Save my love through loneliness
Save my love for sorrow
I'm given you my oneliness
Come give your tomorrow

Hi Phil, after looking at the lyrics of ' When will I see you again' I have to concede that it has more questions in it than 'Are you lonesome tonight' but I will still set th next question.
