I wonder if your granddaughter used Google or is this the knowledge that she just keeps in her smart head? My personal interest in astronomy faded back in high school and I just used something like writemyessayquick so as not to fail tests. I am far from modern education now and would like to clarify. Astronomy is on the rise again?

Hi Joseph. We are pretty lucky here in Edmonton. This building is (was) packed everyday with schoolkids. Makes things a lot easier to understand. I was never interested in the stars, or space, until Captain Kirk and Spock arrived on the scene.
BTW. The answer she gave was off the top of her head. No google used.

You are correct. Over to you.

What ever happened to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil or did we go to the wrong country and see all those stadiums and Olympic Village being built first for the World Cup in 2014 then the Olympics??? Not interested in setting a question going back to isolation

Sorry, Ed, it was indeed, Rio. You can go anyway, because the petulant, childish 82 year old, who, obviously hasn't made a mistake in his life, doesn't want to act like an adult and provide a civil answer. He would rather be sarcastic. Well, he can crawl back into the hole he came from and stay there.

I'm thinking it's a good job that I never agreed with you that it was Stuart Road, he would have bust a blood vessel.

For your information Phil I am still only 77 and had a mild stroke about 3 weeks ago and it is very hard trying to type with just my left hand that is why I have not been posting but believe me I WILL NOT be posting anything ever again. We have changed our email address as I have no desire to have anything at all to do with this once great forum.Sorry to all the good friends and people we have met just delete our email address from your files.

If you're that impaired, why go to the trouble of being sarcastic? A simple "It was Rio" would have sufficed.

So you are going to punish all the "good friends and people" of this site, because you've took umbrage with me? That reinforces my accusation of you being petty.

Bessie it is. Boy was she ever a bruiser. Hate to get in her wrong books. She must have been in as the same time as Simon Mahon.
