I wasn't!!!! Just the other day a young girl
was bitten and the father was hitting the shark with
full force on its snout until it let go but unfortunately, it
was too late and she had to undergo amputation of her
leg. She seems to be a real upbeat person but the
thought of it is just dreadful, so sad.

Do my eyes deceive me Yes!
Margaret Thatcher (bad as she was) wouldn’t have messed up as much as this charming chap. Doubt she’d have used the (fu** business) reply, when asked about the consequences of a no deal!
What this country needs now, is somebody with a modicum of sanity and a degree of reasonableness..
They must have somebody
Lovely pictures from the snappers..Like the steak and chips (sole of an old shoe) and not a veg in sight
Phil; seen fish as big as that on a plate Swan chippie/restaurant Southport
One for the album, Patricia, nothing wrong with being spoilt occasionally

Brilliant photos everyone. Patricia, that looks like the perfect place to get "spoilt" in. Sun, sea and sand, and the icing on the cake, Janine.
Mack, Boris gives me the creeps, but the double act with Maggie is hilarious as long as you don't think about it too long.
Shelagh, I think our Mack would be perfect for the job. He's handled the forum with tolerance and good humour on many occasions without visibly exploding.

Mack, I sympathise your struggles to remain apolitical and not issue obscenities (those 'T' words beloved by barons and lords alike yet despised by socialists).
Another 'No show'. I have heard that a leading Tory candidate will NOT be taking part in current Summer scarecrow festivals; he is rumoured to be far too busy playing 2 major roles in a new Worzel Gummidge meets Catweazle series (with due apologies to the memory of actors Jon Pertwee and Geoffrey Bayldon). Walshy.

Great photo's Ken.I remember when the Queens Regiment was formed mid 60's I think??
Lots of complaining and worry that the new regiment would cause the 4 regiments that made it up would loose all their tradition
and battle honours.Nice to see that they didn't and what could not be a better place than Dover Castle for it's museum.
Matt

All that swimming Bee, had to drop her off there last night and again tonight but I’ve passed on 06.00am tomorrow session.
Mark called me “Mr Whippy” referring to my flyaway bit of hair I have left but it was very breezy up on the battlements
Off to Eastbourne today, Janette’s Sister is down from Wigan
Matt, Origins of Dover Castle go back to Henry 2 , lots of history there but the most interesting was the area used for WW2 Dunkirk evacuation . Ops rooms, hospital etc in miles of tunnels.
Cheers
