View over Liverpool from my bedroom window. Brings back memories of the same scene when I was a kid whilst evacuated .............but it was caused then by the blitz bombs.

It's 52 degrees here in Newport News, Va. so in my book this calls for a large pan of Minestrone Soup w/Crusty Bread Rolls..............:-)

Don't get me started Bernie, with the 'I've got to have it yesterday' culture. 😡

I’m hearing you Bern and Phil! Saw selection boxes in shops in August and a house with dec’s up 2 weeks ago
I get it that we all need something to look forward to in these pandemic times but think it spoils it for the kids. To a 5 year old two weeks is “ages and ages” so two months must feel like forever….just how many sleeps is that?

I feel sorry for the shop workers having to listen to the same Christmas songs all day every day for two months, :D

I must confess though - I'll probably make a start on this year's Christmas jigsaw at the weekend.

That is usually my sole concession to Christmas in November.

I've got the pleasure of our brand new toy today, it's a hybrid so when I'm parked up for long periods, it doesn't use fuel. 👍
