Brings back some memories Keith.Scotch Piper was where I had my first real date with Sheila.1966 she was 18 and I left for 14 months in
the submarine squadron in Singapore 6 weeks later.Had just come back from a 3 month dived spy trip in the Kola Inlet. Missed the whole of summer
and all of the World Cup when England beat Germany.

I've added a little improvement to my car, the son in law who gave me the car is a staunch Man Utd fan! :D

Ken - Can see both you and Janette are being kept busy with your adorable Grandchildren
I'm expecting my three "Munchkins' " from California in two weeks - can't wait, already signed
up with the local residential Colony Pool to help keep them busy. Now that they are older,
"Chucky Cheese" and the Park swings, slides, etc., just doesn't cut it anymore!!! :D

This place in the photo does not actually exist.

I took a piccy of the landscape by flying above in the sky and got this cool sunset photo within virtual Reality exploring worlds digitally created...

:D :D :D Love the photo Mack however you obtained it - Great Job!!!!

Seems we have two potential future fashion designers on our hands here. They have been busy all morning designing dresses from the materials supplied and hand stitching them together! Once again Auntie Janine found the item for them to play with. Their other Auntie Gaynor spoilt all three taking them to Barnes & Noble for their choice of books they wanted. Thanks Dear Daughters! xx

Great photo's every one, thanks for posting. Mack, your photo reminded me of the great Bob Ross and his show, The Joy of Painting. His voice was very relaxing.

Hi Patricia, Just back from very relaxing time in Wales :D Weather gorgeous, but Thursday night, heavens opened, most of caravan park flooded. We weren’t too bad, but did feel sorry for the poor souls who’s vans/tents were flooded out.
Calm before the storm, following picture taken after mammoth nature walk  never seen so much sheep dung in my entire life

Agreed Tom :) Lake District is beautiful, but when the storms hit, the place becomes so hazardous!
Relatives camping in Keswick, ordered to evacuate late last night, flood warnings, pretty scary.
Keswick campsites not taking bookings for the following week..hope the flooding ends soon!

Nice pictures ladies. Glad you survived Shelagh
Janette and kids have been on Dorset coast last week, not too bad rain wise but gusts up to 60 mph up the Channel “tested” their Haven static caravan at times

Hi Shelagh - I also just returned from our yearly family Beach vacation when I saw your posting.
You both look like you have had great weather are tanned and enjoying yourselves, so glad
you survived the storm. Thanks so much for the photo.

I'm going to miss this morning view on the deck but look forward to next year. The Biplane
comes by regularly advertising various advents going on and you can also take a ride in
a Biplane with open cockpit flying which Lew & Jillian did one year.

Love the various coloured Bird Houses across the way

Lovely shot, Ken!! Remember spending a week in Dorset - absolutely lovely, went to see
"Thomas Hardy's Cottage" and Gardens also walked along the sea wall where the movie "The
French Lieutenant's Woman" was filmed in Lyme Regis and thought I was going to be blown
off - the wind was rather strong!!!

Thomas Hardy cottage; so pretty :) perfect example of country craftsmanship, rather grand for the time!

(Lovely sunset over Portsmouth, Ken, love my sunsets :))

Shelah - Only through necessity do I ever go airborne - not a fond of traveling on planes
whereas Lew and Jillian have always loved it.

Took an early morning walk on the beach and found some lovely shells but no sharks teeth!!!....................

Lovely photos, Matt - Sunsets or Sunrises, hard to choose!!!

It is still in the high Nineties here and as I was opening the umbrella on the patio for some shade
lo and behold there was "Tilly" a little frog that has been around for the past three years - she
seems to like the inside of that umbrella!!

Matt - I have always wanted to get up early over the years but this is the first
time I actually did it!!!!!!
Here is the collection of shells I found, thought the black ones were quite unique.
They have empty glass lamp basis that you can fill with shells which i would like
to eventually do - all the Beach Houses we rent have them and I really think they
look lovely but I have a long way to go....................
Image

Here is an example of one - but I would want to fill it up completely! Jillian did one years ago with only pink tinged shells and we all
pitched in to help otherwise she would still be collecting! :D
